You Can Use Sony’s HMZ-T1 To Play VR Skyrim

When Danny reviewed the Sony Personal 3D Viewer HMZ-T1, the one thing he wished it could do was head tracking for in-game play. With a little persistence, an IR tracker and Kinect, it’s possible to do just that.

All up it’s not a cheap solution — Aussie Chris Zaharia estimates you’d be looking at the north side of $1,500 for everything shown — but those who are both cashed up and keen can find quite detailed instructions over on Chris’ site. [Zookal]

Hmmmm, Alex Kidman looks suspiciously like Tracey in the pic beside his name...
    IT'S A CONSPIRACY! /o\

Have you ever seen both of them in the same room at the same time?

I may not know much -- in fact, the amount I don't know is now a new unit of scientific measurement -- but I do know for a fact that I'm not Tracey.

Mark, on the other hand... hmm...

Honestly - this device with one feature would have been about 500 time better. As it is, I can't see why someone would buy one at all.

I am I missing something or does this device not have one feature: display video on your head?

Love the head tracking, love the voice commands, but I don't want to play 4 hours of Skyrim marching and jumping. I wanna be sitting down
