FIFA Interactive World Cup Kicks Off In Sydney Tonight


The FIFA Interactive World Cup will have its Australian Grand Final in Sydney tonight to determine who will represent Australia at the worldwide grand final later this year.

Competitors had to qualify at competitions run at EB stores around Australia and the final tournament to determine who gets to represent Australia in the global tournament will take place at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour.

The world champion will walk away with $US20,000 and share the stage with the likes of David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, Tim Cahill, and others.

The Australian tournament will include guests such as Caitlin Foord of the Matildas, Sydney FC’s Scott Jamieson, and musical performers and DJs.

The night will run to the following schedule:

6.30pm – Event Starts
7.30pm – Cult Street Footballer D10 gives demonstration
8.00pm – Celebrity Tournament
9.00pm – FIFA Interactive World Cup Final
9.30pm – Winner announced
