Important to the series, he is. Crucial to the development of Luke Skywalker, he was. But God damn was Yoda’s speech pattern annoying especially in the prequel trilogy, where it felt like George Lucas was purposefully trolling us with it.
So in this video, it’s been fixed. Spoken in the correct order, his sentences are. Dammit.
What’s so awesome is that it doesn’t diminish his character one bit. Frank Oz’s voice, his somber tone and his cute little ears are all still there. He’s just… better.
