New Penny Arcade Game Looks A Lot Like Old Final Fantasy

No, the third Penny Arcade game will not be released on Super Nintendo. Despite its resemblance to 16-bit games of the early '90s, Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode 3 is coming to PC, Mac, Xbox Live, iOS and Android. Not SNES.

The upcoming role-playing game will be playable at PAX and out this (northern) summer, gaming blog Joystiq reports. It's helmed by Zeboyd Games, an indie RPG developer best known for humorous games Cthulhu Saves the World and Breath of Death VII.

Zeboyd says Episode 3 will take inspiration from Final Fantasy V and Grandia, which is more than enough name-dropping to put it on my radar.

    Not PS3? That's a shame...

The Wii U isn't even out yet, nor will it be till late 2012 (Speculation). The Wii U will be better than the 360, but there will most llkiey be another xbox announced the same time as the wii u is released. But to answer your question the Wii U will be good.

But will it import save data from episodes one and two???

It will, but if you imported your character from episode 1 into 2 there's a bug that wont carry their appearance into ep 3

Okay, you got me, I laughed.

I played Cthulu, and was a bit underwhelmed.... Here's hoping this is better.
