Aussie Nintendo Store -- So Close...

We've been waiting for VVVVVV for ages and just when we were about to get it, it's snatched from our cold hands! Not to worry, there's still Monster World IV which is being released in English for the first time ever and the arcade version of Wonder Boy in Monster Land. Oh and Sonic Labyrinth.

3DS Virtual Console Sonic Labyrinth (Game Gear, SEGA, $7.50AU) Well I have to get this one out of the way before I can get to the good stuff. Not one of Sonic's better outings and this was released in the mid 90s.

3DS Download Software VVVVVV (Nicalis, $12.00AU) - This was all set for release this week, but apparently there's been a delay on Classification. No way this is getting refused classification though! It'll be a short wait for sure...

Wii Virtual Console Wonder Boy in Monster Land (Virtual Console Arcade, SEGA, 900pts) — The superior arcade version of Wonder Boy in Monster Land has arrived. You Sega fanboys always go on about the franchise so I'll take your word for it that the game is good.

Monster World IV (Mega Drive, SEGA, 900pts) — The surprise of the week. Announced a while back this fully translated version of Monster World IV is the first time the game has been released outside of Japan. If you're a fan of the series I'm sure you've already gone and downloaded it.

I want VVVVVV now :( Why would they take it away from me?!

    Hopefully next week.

I can't get the EuroVVVVVVersion without coughing up credit card details, right?

Not unless you can get points sent to you from the UK.

The credit card details are 'encrypted and stored on a database that is not connected to the Internet'. If you want the game now, get it now. No need to wait.

Also, I'm amazed that this game has had so much trouble getting classified. First a delay in Europe, now a delay in Aus... is it Nicalis' fault for not submitting the game properly? When Renegade Kid submitted Mutant Mudds to PEGI, they said it would be classified within ten days. Why is it so hard for Nicalis when smaller companies like Renegade Kid and WayForward can handle it?

I cannot imagine that VVVVV would pose any kind of problem unless they are just too busy playing it to rate it!

I think the biggest problem facing VVVVVV is the price... 12 bucks, seriously!?

Is it really $12!!! Well PC version it is then - only $5 on Steam!

Gah. . . This is the only thing I am looking forward to for my 3DS.

Why wont you let me play VVVVVV ACB. . .?

Finally FINALLY MWIV gets a release. I've been waiting since I was 12. Alas I'm abroad and miles from my Wii. Time for Wonderboy to hit the DS please!
