Aussie Nintendo Store: Touch the Updates

We finally got patching on the Nintendo 3DS, now we’ve got some free add-on content to download. Small steps Nintendo, but it’s finally all coming together. Out this week, in addition to some add-on content is a great new eShop title and a Virtual Console title for the Wii. Like Sands Through the Hourglass, Everybody needs good neighbours.

3DS Download Software

Art of Balance TOUCH! (Shin’en, $12.00) If you didn’t pick up the original on WiiWare then now is your time to repent, for your puzzle saviour is here. The game’s name says it all; this one is all about balance. You have to stack blocks, hold them for 3 seconds without letting them falling into water. Sounds simple? Yeah so does tying your shoe laces, but that can take years to do. Bad jokes aside, this is one you want to take a look at.

3DS Add-on/Updates

Mighty Switch Force (WayForward Technologies) Wait a second, didn’t Might Switch Force come out a while ago Vook? You’re crazy, I’m not buying your lies! Well no lie here. Yes it did come out a while ago, but WayForward have been kind enough to update the game, adding 5 more levels and even sprucing up the graphics and 3D effects on the levels in the game already. All of this is free if you have the game already.

Wii Virtual Console

Metal Slug 3 (D4, 900 Points) – Metal Slug shoots some life into the Wii Virtual Console. You know Metal Slug; you’ve put countless 20c pieces into the arcade machines to play it. Wait a minute… they’re telling me its not the 1980s and arcade games cost more then that for each play. Two dollars? Get out of here…
