• NHL 13‘s cover vote is down to its final four. Claude Giroux and Evgeni Malkin are matched in one semifinal; John Tavares and Pekka Rinne are paired in the other. Voting runs through June 4 and the winner will be announced June 20 at the NHL’s annual awards show. You may go vote here.
• Maryland and Michigan have met just three times, the last in 1990, with the Terrapins losing all three. So this is not a classic rivalry illustrating gameplay in the refined engine of NCAA Football 13. But the choice of teams does spotlight Michigan’s throwback uniforms with the bumblebee shouldermopads, and Maryland’s ridiculous stripper costumes that are a little less offensive in road white.
