People Are Playing Diablo III In All Sorts Of Interesting Places Now

In your basement, cuddled up next to your cat, on a mountain and now on a tablet.

Kotaku reader Wojtek wanted to see what running Diablo III on a touch device would be like, so he set the game up on his Samsung Series 7, which runs Windows. He describes the experience as functioning, as you can plainly see, but with obvious limitations like no left click.

Is Diablo III really the same without that quintessential *click* *click* *click*?

Even after months of practice using an iPad, my fingers still fudge up pretty much anything I make them type. I can imagine myself yelling at a tablet, "What?! No! The OTHER spell!"

Sorry to sound trollish, but this really grinds my gears

      second that

Wow... playing on a tablet sucks. You can't see anything.

Now Baldur's Gate HD - THAT is gonna be boss on a tablet

GOOD LUCK ON INFERNO MODE BUDDY LOL DIABLO WILL EAT U AND THAT TABLET

Splashtop streamer + Splashtop on iPad = pretty decent experience, has the option to make the whole screen one huge track pad with left and right click buttons, not as easy as a mouse, but still highly usable.

Played it on my slate too.. Only problem is shift click

You can play it on your iOS devices with an app called Splashtop http://www.splashtop.com/ , streams from PC (so technically playing on your pc) . I've been using it since closed beta last year, works really really well. Plays at 24-30fps with no lag on wifi (when in local area) and even works well over the net!
