The Super Moon Made Giant Gundam Even More Awesome

Did you see the Super Moon (née “SuperMoon”)? On May 5, the moon was, as NASA pointed out, 14 per cent bigger and 30 per cent bright than all other full moons of this year. Impressive! Even the giant Gundam in Tokyo’s Odaiba checked out it out.

In this stop motion video, clever editing, smart filmmaking and lovely music bathe the enormous mecha in supermoonlight.

The original one-to-one scale Gundam was erected back in July 2009. This latest giant Gundam will be up until mid 2013.
