…while you wait for Diablo III? Usually at 11am on a Tuesday, I start a topic about stuff we do that isn’t video games. Today, as a vast majority of you wait patiently for the Diablo III unlock, I thought this might be a good opportunity to talk about what you’re doing to kill time? I’m working!
I’m guessing most of you will be working as well, anyone pulling a sickie? Anyone going to get away from work early?

Sucks about the work. But on the bright side 8pm is better than, I dunno, 2am.
I’m doing what I’m going to do tonight and next and forever after. Not play Diablo 3.
Trying to get a fair amount of work done, so that tomorrow, while I’m away from Diablo, I can talk about Diablo to all of the people on the internets.
At work and following NBA and MLB scores, and reading reviews for yesterday’s Game of Thrones ep (great episode btw)
Working, despite having daily and monthly KPIs only and our monthly reports whilst obviously providing a monthly summary, they contain a daily breakdown (for MTD purposes), our new diversion boss wants all reports to include weekly breakdowns also… So yeah, great updating reports to include something that really isn’t required at all!
So doing the above whilst listening to some new tunes (Garbage, announce tour already dammit!), + my free copy of Singstar Guitar turned up for me at work today… +1 for the collection!
I hadn’t heard of garbage before yesterday but i previewed their album. Great stuff i have been listening to it along with the shins new album 🙂
Then you need to pick up their 4 earlier albums which have some killer songs also, you might have a few “oh, I know this” moments…
I have that happen alot to me i listen to a song somewhere and never hear it again than later i hear it and i am like hey i know this but i will check out their discography later tonight i think.
When does it unlock? I’ve got work and then I’m covering what is likely to be an exceedingly long and tedious meeting tonight – so probably no Diablo for me 🙁
Pretending to write an essay on chinese politics while pretending to wait for Diablo 3. I have to wait longer any way. Ozgameshop, while I love you and your delicious prices, I hate your mailing system and my 4 – 12 day wait. Please do what you did when Skyrim came out and pretend that the 4 – 12 wait was legit and send it to me on launch day.

Trying to actually get work done while the entire rest of the office grinds to a halt to come and stand around the desk looking at the box.
Feeling glad I have leave tomorrow.
Working currently, leaving early for appointments, and home in time for the unlock, hopefully. It’s due around 5pm, yeah?
I can’t get the D3 installer to work. Says I have invalid installation options and it can’t install. Some people on the net said it was to do with the beta but I didn’t play the beta, so that can’t be it. Plus, my area is having internet connection issues with bigpond 🙁

Apparently there was a problem with the downloader in some cases (see the second link), so you need to sort of “patch” your downloaded files and try again.
Procrastinating and pretending to work until I can knick off at 3 so I can mate with my D3 CE.
Bein’ just an all round cool dude.
Trying not to remember that I can’t afford Max Payne until October.
But mostly just being super-cool.
Getting popcorn and lots of high caffeine drinks as I watch teh intertubes implode tonight with the QQ of D3 players when they can’t clickclickclickclickclickclick.

Most of those are wonderful suggestions. I think I’m going to touch myself in a sexy way while making a sandwich, like I usually do.

Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life . . . But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you’ve got Diablo III?
Napping is a poor man’s time travel. You go to sleep, then you wake up and it’s the future!
I’m looking at armor sets, trying to work out which looks prettiest. But then I realised that it doesn’t really matter, because only two classes in Diablo 3 have beards, so there’s really only two classes I can play.

Do you realize that you are “Nerding it up” by commenting on the article a swell. People are allowed to be enthused. Just like the hype before a game of football or being excited before hearing a album or watching a movie or meeting a person. Is it really your place to judge people for liking something more than you?
A bunch of people being incredibly enthused about a game they’ve been looking forward to for years now makes you hate PC gaming.
I’m not picking on anyone for their enthusiasm or their preference to pc gaming or otherwise. It’s the article and the general need for it i’m picking on. Anyway, no one will read this or anything soon by the sounds of this hype.
I guess I am waiting for the Xbox version to come out?
