An Idiot Was Paid $5 Million To Smuggle Cocaine Inside An Xbox

It was only a month ago we heard of a guy who tried, and failed, to hide a few bricks of coke inside an Xbox. Guyanese drug smugglers obviously don't keep up with the news.

Border authorities in Jamaica have arrested a man who, after initially clearing customs with two items of luggage, tried to re-enter and grab a third. This aroused suspicions, so the third package was checked, and inside they found an "X-Box". Inside that was 24 pounds of cocaine.

The man, who was only identified as a "Guyanese traveler", admitted to smuggling the drugs in return for $US5 million.

The report wasn't clear whether it was an Xbox 360 or an original Xbox. I'm actually leaning towards the latter, if only because it was so damn big you could cram more drugs inside.

although not very gaming related apart from drugs being inside a console, this article feels like its only half of one.
what happened/will happen to the guy who got caught? was there any cocaine in the first two packages?

What can you expect from luke

Why are you calling him an idiot?

I wish my coke had an xbox in it

24 pounds is a lot of blow, volume wise

I find it hard to believe that much could be crammed in 1 xbox

There is not much inside an xbox aside from a hamster wheel and a RRoD anyway so 24pounds is a feasible amount

lol $5 million US for 24 pounds of charlie... um, no...

thats around 10kilos, which a mule would not get paid $5million to move... lmao more like $10k-$20k if that...

the kilo bricks themselves at wholesale price would fetch about $30k-$50k each (much more here in Aus though) ... so the numbers being throw around here dont add up, at all, not even close...

oh and id like to see the packages if he fit 10kgs in there... the most well compressed ones ive ever seen are about the size of a VHS tape... so good luck getting 10 into an xbox shell...
