Lingerie Football League Is Ready To Tackle Video Games

Those garter wearing gridiron warriors are coming to video games. That's right, the Lingerie Football League inked a deal with Japanese developer Yuke's Co for a line of games destined to hit yet unspecified platforms.

"As a leading sports and entertainment focused company, we have to keep a pulse on what is the next big franchise," said Yuke's boss Yukinori Taniguchi. "We at Yuke's feel that there is incredible momentum building behind the LFL and that the sport is perfectly positioned to become the next big franchise in the gaming world."

Yuke's is best known for its wrestling games, such as the WWE games and the female fighting title Rumble Roses XX. The LFL is known for skimpy outfits and skimpy pay.

This ‘sport’ is one of the most disgraceful cash ins I have seen and belong in the same sleazy pile as jelly wrestling and foxy boxing.

Ask yourself one question. Would anyone care if they weren’t wearing skimpy clothes?

If the answer is yes, then, why may I ask are they wearing uniforms not suited to the game.

If the answer is no, then see my opening statement.

The video game world does not need or want this pathetic, sexist excuse for a game.

Holy shit dude. No one is forcing these girls to do it. They wanna do it and love it. The fact you compare this to foxy boxing and Jelly wrestling proves you have neither watched a game or know what you are talking about. Maybe you should watch a game an realize what great athletes these women are. They are skilled and and play it hard, their courage and tuffness at the ball puts those pansy soccer players to shame. And well they do wear skimpy clothes, but hey I know chicks who like to watch certain sports cause the dudes wear skimpy clothes...

      Hear hear.

This sh!te needs to be canned

Agreed, this IS NOT your market. Get of our lawn

How the hell do they protect their implants in those outfits?

Agree with SirSam, it is simply a cash in. I worked with a woman who started her own jelly wrestling company. The bottom line is, there is money to be made and everyone involved wants more money. A greed gremlin is all it is and gaming doesn't need this, it just reinforces the stereotype of male gamers and a lot of us don't need or want that.

There's a video game for almost every other sport already, so this was inevitable.
If you don't like it, then don't buy it. Pretty simple.

    Oh. God.

    *sob*

By your ilinformed comments would suggest you have never seen the game...
To actually think that this sport is comparable to Jelly wrestling or foxy boxing would maybe suggest you are the sexist one. The girls in this sport are pure athletes with huge courage, who take their sport seriously. But hey I guess we can't let women choose what they want to do with their lives, maybe we should put them back in the kitchen where they belong. How about you actually check the game out and give the respect these women deserve.

I don't know what YOU are watching but this 'sport' goes hand in hand with jelly wrestling and foxy boxing. Any woman who is willing to run around in underwear and do a few tackles to get attention, has lost all the respect she was ever capable of having. Maybe they'd be taken seriously if they were actually wearing clothes and not just putting on a show for men.

Agree with your comments re: comparing it to jelly wrestling. LFL players give it their all on the field, they play with passion!
I'm imagining your normal NFL game with 'chicks in skimpy outfit' models instead, which I'd say wouldn't necessarily make the game bad, just.. redundant
