One Does Not Simply Draw Into Mordor

Ilya Nazarov works as an artist and illustrator at Bethesda. Before that, he’s worked at places like Warner Bros. and Nintendo, and has provided art for series like Metroid Prime, Donkey Kong, Tribes and, as you may have guessed by that headline, Lord of the Rings.

Ilya’s fantasy landscapes are easily some of the most impressive we’ve ever featured here on Fine Art, so head over to his personal site to check out some more of his stuff.

To see the larger pics in all their glory (or so you can save them as wallpaper), right-click on them below and select “open in new tab”.

Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios. If you’re in the business and have some concept, environment or character art you’d like to share, drop us a line!
