Persona 3 owes much of its success to the stunning work of legendary character designer Shigenori Soejima. The fan-favourite artist lends his commentary to 144 pages of character art, concept pieces and design work in Persona 3: Official Design Works, coming June 20 from UDON.
UDON makes a sexy book, habitually going above and beyond what fans expect from a bound collection of art, and Persona 3: Official Design Works looks to maintain that fine tradition. The $US39.99 tome is packed with sketches, paintings and design documents, much of it enhanced by candid commentary from the artist himself. the volume is capped off with a massive interview with Soejima and Persona 3 producer and director Katsura Hashino, giving fans plenty to read along with their plenty to look at.
Persona 3: Official Design Works will be available from Diamond Distribution on June 20 and in bookstores June 26.
