Man, I literally don't know what yesterday's ScribbleTaku is. Because the creator, Nic Healey from PC & Tech Authority, won't tell me. I'll update tomorrow when he lets me know. Today's ScribbleTaku is the last of the ones sent in by Gizmodo Editor Alex Kidman's kids. In my opinion they've been the most entertaining so far. And also the most difficult. Good luck guys!

ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game, on a sticky note, and it’s your job to try and guess what it is! Come back every day at 12 for a new ScribbleTaku!

UPDATE: Nic got back to me just at the last second! Yesterday's game was Montezuma’s Revenge!

The Kotaku logo game? (The image isn't coming up in-article)
Going by the thumbnail though, Minecraft?

Probably not Minecraft if it's "difficult" Maybe one of the Lego games. Lego Harry Potter?

    I still think yesterday's was Montezuma's Revenge.

It was, and you were right! Check the update in the last line of the article!

OMG. This is the first time I've ever actually gotten one of these "guess the game" games!!

You were right! Many an hour wasted on an Apple II at the Hurlstone Ag High School computer lab on that sucker.

        Possibly formative memory:

I was about five years old and the family was having dinner. I excused myself and went to play the Commodore 64. My older brother (about 11 at the time) had left the game paused. He was far into the game, at a level I'd never seen before. He had lots of lives. I then sat there and tried to play the very-hard level. I wasted all of his lives.

But I didn't learn my lesson. Not very many years later, I loaded up Alone in the Dark on our 486. My brothers and I had slowly worked our way through the game, often two of us leaning over the shoulder of the one playing helping each other out with the puzzles. We had recently finally finished it. I loaded a game saved near the end and since I liked the ending animation of Carnby leaping Toyota-like in the air when he gets out of the house I then made several separate save files in different leaping positions (the game saved a screenshot of where you were up to on the saved file), overwriting every single save we had made.

        Those little brothers, hey?

    Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts

Street Fighter 2 (or any later release of Street Fighter).
    Clearly it's Zangief's lariat

Crash Bandicoot, the multiple arms looks like the spinning motion he does.

I still can't think of anything other than Minecraft, as others have said already.

All I can learn from that image is the author needs a new pen!

I'm thinking it is more robot than anything. What looks like a pick is actually the other arm (or cannon) based on where the lines should be but their pen ran out.

I'm going to go with megaman

It could be a Lego man... so Lego Star Wars?

looks like the kairosoft robot, so any game made by them?

Drawn to Life? At least, my character looked like that :P
