gotta wonder what bethesda’s thinking when people are more excited for a South park rpg.

Not excited at all. Last thing I want is another action bar full of squares swords and sorcery MMO

Elder scrolls should have remained a single player RPG franchise. Joke. I hope it bombs worse than SW:TOR.

Yer.. as much as the idea of a hugely successful franchise being made into an MMO makes sense and sounds good on paper, I don’t think it will be a lot different to Evercrack or WoW or whatever with a different skin. Elder Scrolls, for all intents and purposes, are very generic RPGs.. that’s why they are so successful because they’ve kept to the core gameplay mechanics and done everything really nice…. pushing this into the MMO space is just going to feel stale, especially since there won’t be any room for modding which is another reason that Elder Scrolls games are so popular.

I’d love to be excited about ESO, but when their deisgn point is to make it play ‘like world of warcraft’ I’m not interested.
Please Bethesda, anything but more of the same…
