Tell Us Dammit

We're fast approaching July, and some of you may remember what a large group of us did last July — we played all those unloved, untouched games atop our massive gaming piles of shame! We committed to not starting a single new release game! This month myself, and Shameless Gaming ideas man Trjn, are keen to do Shameless Gaming all over again. But first I thought it might be a good idea to take stock — what games are currently on your pile of shame, and what games would you like to play for Shameless Gaming month?

My pile of shame is astronomical, but here are some I'd like to knock off during the month of July.

- Mass Effect 3 - Child of Eden - Assassin's Creed Revelations - From Dust - Outland - Max Payne 3 - Battlefield 3 - Modern Warfare 3 - De Blob 2 - Dead Space 2

Yeah, a pretty long list. I'm hoping to knock off at least four or five of these during July.

What about you guys, what's sitting on your pile of shame, and are you keen to get involved in Shameless Gaming this July?

Well lets see *opens up Steam* this is what I am yet to complete.
    Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000
    Bastion
    Battlefield: Bad Company 2
    Borderlands
    Bully: Scholarship Edition
    Dead Island
    Far Cry
    Far Cry 2
    Grand Theft Auto III
    Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
    Magicka
    Mass Effect
    Mass Effect 2
    Metro 2033
    Midnight Club II
    Mirror's Edge
    S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat
    S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky
    S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadows of Chernobyl
Saints Row 2 (I don't think I will ever play it honestly, after playing it for an hour it felt too clunky & bad)
    VVVVVV

Some other indie games I have scored over the years from Humble Bundle that I will probably never touch, since I didn't buy the bundles for them =P

Though I think I will just finish what I have installed, that being Metro 2033, Mirror's Edge & probably make a real start on Borderlands in anticipation for #2 this year.

Saints Row 3 starts rocky... but it gets so much better by the end.

      I'm a convert.

Yeah I wouldn't mind playing #3 cause it looks pretty awesome.

My list is large. The ones I hope to finish soon (in no order):

    Bioshock
    Assassin's Creed Revelations
    Uncharted 3
    Gears of War 3
    Dragon Age 2
    Batman: Arkham City

I think some are fairly close to the end (Dragon Age 2 for example) while others I've hardly touched (Uncharted 3)

I'd be worried if you wanted to try & conquer your full list in the month =P

He would need to recruit a warehouse full of gold farmers to do that

Sadly I think many of the games on my list are the same ones that were on it last year.
I really will get around to finishing darksiders and bioshock one day

My pile is at - Time To Complete: 83 Days, 9 Hrs, 22 Mins currently so I'm sure I will find something I can play

These are my main goals for Shameless Gaming Month (In no particular order):

    - Xenoblade
    - Witcher 1 (1/2 completed)
    - Witcher 2
    - Batman: Arkham Asylum
    - Batman: Arkham City

Apart from The Witcher, I'll be focsing on PS3, where my list is a lot shorter.

    NFS: Hot Pursuit (1/2 complete)
    FFXIII
    Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
    Wipeout HD
and a possible replay of InFamous 1 & 2 as an evil sod, because I reckon I can plat them both.

I've got heaps, but the next to go on the list are:

    Batman: Arkham City
    Final Fantasy XIII-2
    Medal of Honor
    Crysis
    Driver: SF
    Dear Esther
    Metro 2033

I'll aim for 2 of those to be done.

Dear Esther is an easy one to finish, my playtime to complete was 81mins. :/

Mass Effect 3, Skyrim, Deus Ex 3. Donkey Kong Country Returns will get some love too.

haha my pile of shame is pretty much everything in my Steam library.
    Psychonauts
    Botanicula
    Machinarium
    Superbrothers
    Witcher 1+2
Crusader Kings 2(bought it for the Game of Thrones mod)
    Payday the Heist
    and Max Payne 3

    Xenoblade
    Arkham City
    Mass Effect 3
    Aquaria
    Witcher 2

And I'll be away until the 15th. I'll never get all this done /o\

to name a few (some going back quite a few years)...

    Flashback (Amiga)
    Ocarina of Time (N64)
    Red Dead Redemption (360)
    Halo: ODST (360)
    Uncharted 3 (PS3)
    Uncharted Golden Abyss (VITA)
    Rayman Origins (PS3)

Hmmmm.... I just did a stock take of all my games and it is embarrassing...
I am lucky if I complete 6 games a year. I tend to play, until I get distracted and then move on to another game. Although I did finally finish Bioshock this year (one of the 1st games I got with the Xbox!). Good luck every one with your pile of shame!

The ones I am most interested in finishing are:

    PS3:
Catherine (almost there night 7 level 3!)
Dragon Age Origins (just the Dwarf kingdom to go!)
    Driver San Francisco

    Xbox 360:
    Batman Arkham city
    Mass Effect 3
    Portal 2 (I'm stuck!)
Rayman Origins (having a blast playing 2player with my wife)

    Wii:
    Zelda Skyward Sword

    PC:
    Diablo 3
    Max Payne 3
Deus Ex HR (finished first 2 parts)
Legend of Grimrock (Love this old school RPG)
The Witcher 2 (finished the first 2 parts)
    From Dust

Where are you stuck on Portal 2? It's not too long a game so it'd be a good one to knock over :)

Same with DA:O, if you're almost done then you should finish that one.

Hmmm.... If I am being honest with myself. I will probably only complete:

    Catherine (PS3)
    Rayman Origins (Xbox)
    Max Payne (PC)
    Diablo 3 (PC)
    Deus Ex HR (PC)
    The Witcher 2 (PC)
    Legend of Grimrock (PC)

It's more like a cabinet of shame - so far this year I've finished:
    Halo Reach
    Half Life 2
    Alan Wake

I also helped my boy finish Skylanders so that counts and I finished Mario 3D Land on the 3DS

To finish (by) the end of July (Campaigns only):
    Halo 3
    GTA IV
Trials Evolution (all Single Player tracks)
    Assassin's Creed II
    Crackdown 2
    Spiderman Shattered Dimensions
    Battlefield Bad Company 2
    Crysis 2
    The Gunstringer

    Later in the year:
    Dead Rising 2: Case Zero
    Battlefield 3
    Mass Effect 2
    Star Wars the Force Unleashed
    Bulletstorm
    Enslaved

    Long Shots:
    Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts
    Borderlands
    Fez
    Rock of Ages
    Shadow Complex
    Splosion Man
    The Fancy Pants Adventures
    Red Dead Redemption
    Batman Arkham City
    Deus Ex HR
    Saints Row the Third

Will never be able to finish:
    Just Cause 2

    Not even started
    Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
    Battlefield Bad Company 1
    Half Life 2: Eps 1 and 2
    The Ballad of Gay Tony
    Red Dead: Undead Nightmare
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
    Shadows of the Damned
    Child of Eden
    Alan Wakes: American Nightmare

My pile of shame is pretty terrible:
    F.E.A.R
    Fable 3
    GTA IV
    Just Cause 2
    Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
    Saints Row 2
    Assassins Creed: Revelations
    and Skyrim, naturally.

And just bought Witcher 2 today. So, yeah, can't see that list getting shorter any time soon.

My gaming shame of pile is quite bad. In December 2011, I decided to finish 4 games a month, and thus far I'm averaging 2.5 games a month.
The shame pile in numbers, as follows:
    PC: Steam/GOG - 87 games, on CD/DVD - 10 games
    PS3: 21 games | XBox 360: 13 games | Nintendo Pee: 11 games | DSi: 19 games (mostly RPG!!)
    Android tab/ph: 9 games

So, for July aiming to finish:
    1) Assassin's Creed (yep..)
    2) Motorstorm Pacific Rift
    3) Jolly Rover
    4) Demolition Inc.

    Lets see...

    1. Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition (and possibly the original) I don't know how I missed this series but the new game was one of the few things I wanted to play at E3. DMC4 was awesom and so far DMC3 is just as good.

    2. Lord of the Rings: War in the North (Meh game, but its LOTR which I love)

    3. Darksiders Tried out the sequel at E3 and liked it. I though I should catch up on this series too. It looks good but I only played the demo

    4. Kid Icarus Uprising/Super Mario 3D Land I got a 3ds for super cheap from a friend for a trip to Europe and these are the only two games that look decent. Any suggestions?

5&6. These two are really old SNES games that I need to finish but have just never had the motivation to finish. Fire Emblem: Geneology of the Holy War and Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 (hoping for an updated translation patch soon). I need to get these finished before Fire Emblem 3DS comes out as their the only games besides the NES fire emblems I haven't finished in the series. Oh wait 7. I'm hoping for the translation patch for Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem to be completed so I can finish that too.

    Batman Arkham City
    Mass Effect 2
    Pikmin 2
    Half-Life 2+ HL2 e1+2
    Alice Madness Returns
    Super Mario Galaxy 2
No More Heroes 1+2 (but honestly I don't really care for either of these)
    The Witcher (1)
And all the games from Humble Bundle 5 (and since I mention it, I haven't touched the 2nd one either, after my sister bought all those years ago)

Why, oh why, did I buy Dead Space?
I've got too many titles to mention, but I did finish Ratchet & Clank: ToD & Ratchet & Clank: QFB.
