Apple Has Fixed The App Store Bug That Has Been Crashing Your Games

If you've been trying to update your iOS apps and games over the last 24-48 hours and found that they've gone over all crashtacular, it's because of a bug in the way the App Store pushed DRM to its apps.

Apple told AllThingsD this morning that all is now well after working round the clock to fix the slightly embarrassing issue.

We had aApple Has Fixed The App Store Bug That Has Been Crashing Your Apps temporary issue that began yesterday with a server that generated DRM code for some apps being downloaded...the issue has been rectified and we don’t expect it to occur again."

If you've got apps that were affected by the bug, it's probably a good idea to go and re-download them to fix any lingering problems. [AllThingsD]

I think you're mistaken. iOS apps do not crash. They merely insist you'd be happier on the home screen instead.

They can do this quickly but it still takes months and months for anything to be done about minecraft screenshot scammers dominating the top 25. Is Apple the Cube or something? It certainly seems so, then this happens.

It's always worked fine, you've just been tapping the icon in the wrong way.
