Here’s A Trailer For An RPG With 40 Endings

Here’s the launch trailer for Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time, a new strategy-role-playing game that Atlus will bring to the U.S. next week for PSP.

Yep, PSP. The Vita might not get new games, but the PSP does. And this one is looking pretty good. Rockin music!

This is the fourth game in the Growlanser series, originally released in Japan for the PlayStation 2 back in 2006. This will be the first time we see it on U.S. shores. Wayfarer of Time is a massive, 40-hour RPG with 40 (!) endings and a whole lot of strategy-RPG goodness. Plus there’s a dating sim. Because why not?

  • I know, right?
    NOGAEMS, lawl, HIFIVE!
    Oh, wait…

It’s totally unlike Sony to support “old” gen hardware with a huge install base!
    Oh, wait…

Sony sucks for not including PSP backwards compatibility in the PSV.
    Oh, wait…

And for the final kicker – imagine if this was, like, an English localisation of a PSP game released in early 2011 in Japan, before the PSV was even available!
    Oh, wait…

  • Can’t wait for this game! This is the best RPG series of all time. If you have a PSP and love RPGs, get this game. If you love RPGs and don’t have a PSP (or Vita), then get a cheap PSP and get this game!
