Many Consoles, One Game To Rule Them All…

You may or may not know this, but ex-Gizmodo Editor Alex Kidman is actually a huge video game collector. Seriously. He has more old consoles and video games than any human being I know personally. He’s currently doing a hypothetical: if he could only keep one video game from all the consoles he has ever owned, which one would it be and why? I thought I’d ask you guys and girls the same question.

Alex is doing the whole thing in-depth, one post at a time. So far he’s looked at the Atari 2600 and the Master System, for which he’s chosen Space Invaders and Bubble Bobble respectively.

It’s got me thinking what my list would be. So here it is!

Spectrum 128k: Midnight Resistance
Master System: California Games
Game Boy: The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
Amiga: Monkey Island 2: Lechuck’s Revenge
SNES: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Nintendo 64: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Game Boy Advance: Metroid Fusion
PlayStation 2: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Xbox: Halo: Combat Evolved
GameCube: Metroid Prime
Nintendo DS: Trauma Center
PSP: Loco Roco
Wii: Mario Galaxy
Xbox 360: Red Dead Redemption
PS3: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
3DS: Super Mario 3D Land
