Today's Scribbletaku is a little different. I'm not going to say why, because that might give it away. It's based on a specific game, but I think everyone will have a different idea of what it is based on their own personal experience...

Yesterday's drawing was Kirby's Dreamland on the Game Boy — well done to all who got it right!

ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game on a sticky note, and it’s your job to guess what it is! Come back every day at noon for a new ScribbleTaku!

I see both a burning house and a vent with smoke pouring from it.

    Uh... huh. Hmm.

    Metal Gear Solid 2?

      you got it!

Seriously, I cant think about this game without getting this stuck in my head:

DAYTTTTONNAA! DAYTTONNAAAAAA Lets go away! It'll give you flashbacks of your local bowling alley, movie theatre or game arcade!

        Of course! It's a 4-player cab.
Well played Mark, that new sleeping schedule is giving you some mad lateral thinking skills :)

That or he's delved straight into madness and thinks the mid-90's were a game. This is the checkpoint between leaving school and laying around watching The Simpsons reruns right?

I used to work for a company in Melbourne that had a lot of arcade games.. anyone heard of barcode? Galactic Circus at crown?

Anyways, Im begining to think he has tried to draw wheels at the back. Could it be a motoGP Arcade cabinet?

I also used to work at Galactic Circus -- true story!

haha nice. I used to be a quasi-manager of one of the offsite bowling outfits.. I hope they made you dress up and do kid's birthday parties. My favourite part of that place was the drunks that would wander in at 3am frm the casino, and the lost children that parents would leave while they went to play the pokies..

One of the few times I actually went to the casino part of the casino I got drunk and ended up down there. The rest of the story is sketchy at best.

To me it looks like The Simpsons when Homer and Mr Burns are caught in that snowed in log cabin and it's blasting down the mountain.

Theme Park? I have no idea, and will thus throw random names into the air.

I'm guessing it's that horse racing game? Either that or it's the fairground game where you stick ping pong balls in the clown's mouth...

I mean the horse racing game at the arcade.. The one you actualy ride. Either way, I think this is a game you actually interact with, not just on a PC or console using a controller.

random building from Act 1 Diablo 3

    The Last Ninja

This month should be called Polyphasic ScribbleTaku.

Dammit Mark, this game is hard enough already!

    Ya got me.......
    No idea.

Mass Effect 1 or 2 - the extra staff consoles on the Normandy, between the Helm and Navigation.

Luggage from Terry Pratchett. If it's in a Discworld game as Saramakos says, well I guess it's video game related.
