See How Much Work Goes Into Making A Fancy Video Game Trailer

Cinematic trailers are everywhere in games marketing these days, so much so it's rare to see a title shown off for the first time any other way. As we become more familiar with them, though, we start to take them for granted.

Which is a bit of a shame, considering how much work actually goes into making one.

French visual effects studio Unit Image has made this great video showing how they put ZombiU's E3 trailer together.

It's...a hell of a lot of work.

    If you think that's a lot of work, consider how much extra work it takes to make a cinematic trailer that has actual animation in it.

    If you have any of the wow collectors editions watch the making of DVD and see the work that goes into the cinematic for the game.

    Amazing stuff. Would love to be able to do things like that but i just dont have enough hours in the day to learn it :\
