The Worst Movie Ever Made Gets A Game Designed To Play Like Some Of The Best Ever Made

What little fame Manos: The Hands of Fate has, it has for exactly the wrong reasons. It is quite probably the worst movie ever to exist. Everything about it is awful. It is so very bad, in fact, that it gained comic fame after being featured on one of the best episodes of Mystery Science theatre 3000. The mockery endures via the internet and Netflix, and Manos has become a kind of hilarious cult classic that must be seen to be believed.

Some brave or possibly mentally unbalanced souls at FreakZone games have latched on to the idea and run with it. Manos is going to be an 8-bit style game, very much in the Super Mario Brothers or Castlevania mould to judge by the trailer.

This is a rare instance where any tie-in can only be better than the movie it’s associated with. Either that or it needs to fail spectacularly in a thousand different ways to be good. Which will it be? iOS device owners can find out in about a week.
