While the title for “World’s Most Bizarre Game Trailer” will remain firmly entrenched in Techland’s pool room for this hilarious piece of cinema, Remedy easily has dibs on second place with the above bit of work to promote a remake for the developer’s classic PC title Death Rally.
I don’t know if a half-naked, chubby dude in a motorcycle helmet buying riding gear online is going to move a lot of product, but it definitely caught my attention… so, uh, Remedy must be doing something right.
If you own an Apple device, you probably know that Death Rally was revamped for iOS and released early last year. I was fortunate enough to pick it up while it was on sale for zero dollars and it saw me through many a train trip… even if the last boss fight was stupid hard.
Seeing as it’s Remedy, I doubt it’ll be a straight port of the mobile version. OK, I’m hoping it’s not a straight port. That’d be as ludicrous as, well, this trailer.
