So I have to leave the office early to go and interview WWE superstar 'The Miz', so if I miss any late noms, I'll try and include them next week!
And speaking of late noms I didn't get time to mention last week — Welbot shot out a SUPER LAST MINUTE NOM for Rocketman! Sorry I missed it dude, but you did send it two minutes before the post was published!
Anyway... that was last week, and this is now!
Before I begin with this week's Kudos, I'd just like to say a big thank to Doc What and all the guys involved in shooting the Doc's Zombie movie. I had an amazing time watching blood splatter everywhere. Mostly I just watched Harli run a lot. She's pretty good at running.
I've seen some early footage as well, and I'm not sure how early the Doc wants to show the world, so I'll leave it him, but it's all looking pretty swish.
Related noms for the whole thing came from AlexPants, who was the guy who did the clickey thing. You know... the clicky thing!
Ah, okay — a quick google search has revealed it's called a 'clapper'. It has also revealed that I'm an idiot.
Anyway the Pants noms read as follows...
Gotta give some mad credit to Doc this week. He got us together for an absolutely amazing weekend. We might have looked bored at some points but I want him to know that I enjoyed every second of it. This is the best way I know how to thank him for that (without spending money). Everyone involved deserves kudos as well, but he was our awesome ringleader.
My other major nom is for FatShady. He saw some of the behind the scenes footage I've been fiddling with and, since I'm new to the video editing world, sent me some great advice and ideas and even offered to personally teach me all about it. And I'm so in awe of that, really. Might not seem like much to others but the quick response and the enthusiasm he wrote with was really encouraging, and while I'm sure I'll thank him down the road for teaching me stuff I just want to thank him now for even offering.
I've also run out of ways to end these emails. Oh, I know! I hope you've been keeping up with Naruto! Some interesting stuff there. Stay cool, man.
D.C. nommed everyone in TAY who has been playing Spec Ops, for having good taste in games. Good one mate, good one.
He also nommed Freeze, Splicer and NegativeZero for being good human beings.
Beavwa and The Cracks both nominated Anonymous Pessimist for this mental song he posted in today's While You Were Sleeping. I especially like the line about eating Adele.
What else? Well NovaCascade — who made for a pretty intimidating zombie on Doc What's movie — nommed CrazyGuy1990 for giving gifting him Crysis. True story — I actually bought a brand new PC for Crysis. I haven't had to replace it since.
Masha continued his streak after being nominated by CJ for his quick witted posting skills.
I think that Greenius, however, may just have invented a new phrase which I will steal and use until my dying day. That phrase is "MASSIVE SUPER DOOPER POOPER SCOOPER STARSHIP TROOPER". It is a good phrase and was contained in these noms...
Big kudos to Mawt for giving me a bunch of Club Nintendo point codes. I asked him for some out of the blue and he obliged, whatta nice guy!
Thanks to everyone who helped me with my Marketing essay
Kudos to my 3DS buddies who send me letters and drawings <3
AND MASSIVE SUPER DOOPER POOPER SCOOPER STARSHIP TROOPER NOMS TO EVERYONE
The Kotaku Community is an amazing place man. Amazing.
And finally, the Shiggster dropped another email dripping in solid gold.
What's crackin' my Scottish brutha?
FIRST to Everyone who helped with the Zombie movie the past weekend, so much fun was had even if I did complain the whole time and wanted a lunch break every 5 mins.
SECOND to bacon. Because where would I be without it?
THIRD to Robert Downey Jr for being so darn handsome. You could stare into those eyes forever...
And that's it. That's the noms for this week. Sorry for this one being a little shorter and more slap dash than usual — I'm on a stupid schedule. Oh, and today's winner is Mawt. I just feel like giving Kudos to someone who hasn't won before!
Have a great weekend everyone!
