   I’ve been playing the beta of the last few months and I’m really enjoying this game. I really like the changes valve have made to a small number of maps, the addition of new weapons and introducing a load of new maps & game modes.

   Considering I’m skipping Activision games this year, this’ll be my main fps game for a while. No single player, all about the MP just as I like, and for $15 you can’t really go wrong.

   However, the game is receiving a lot of flak for some reason, apparently people don’t think it’s good enough (?). Just check out the comments on PCgamer.

   Have been playing BETA for a while, will be pre-ordering when I get home.

   It’ll be the must play FPS this year.

   I played the BETA, it gets the Boo Goose quality assured guaranty. Though no doubt the Internet will gather together a few hundred “dude its all different and sucky” people but they should be put with the “Vaccine caused my child’s toes to fall off” crowd and forgotten.

   I half expected the game to be free and supported by $99 hats.

      The Playstation Blog had listed this as coming out August 21 (I expect the 360 will be similar)

   I can’t wait. I lost a million hours into CS when I was in school (or wagging school to play CS) so I’m really excited to give it a go. I’ll have to brush up on my AK skills in Source before release though …

   Does anyone know if the beta client becomes the full client or will we have to download another client on full release?
