SimCity Returns To The Mac In 2013

SimCity returns to the Mac in February 2013, when EA releases the city builder as a digital download via Origin. Seeing as many of us first played Maxis' storied franchise on an Apple system, this is grand news.

"Whether you owned a Macintosh or a DOS PC, we all have memories of laying down zones and reticulating splines from our youth," said Lucy Bradshaw, Senior Vice President and General Manager of EA's Maxis Label. "To the millions of SimCity fans out there, we've been listening and can proudly say that your calls have been answered. SimCity has a long legacy on the Mac and the team at Maxis is ensuring that it will be the deepest, richest and most accessible SimCity game yet."

And like many PC users, Mac users will not go near it due to it being on Origin and requiring an always on Internet connection.

“To the millions of SimCity fans out there, we’ve been listening"

Translation, "To the millions of CimCity fans out there, we've been (half) listening."

      Exactly...
What "fans" have been asking for "always on".

Bring back LAN play ffs! I don't care about their MP economy effecting your game play.

      They listen (half-listen) ???
      *gasp*
