   I am still put off by the whole Season Pass thing. Its a great idea, but they should look at it differently.

   Rather than slapping people in the face with a $30 charge in addition to buying the game on day one, they should give the Season Pass away for FREE for people that buy the game in the first month of release, as a reward for being an early supporter. Having a free Season Pass will encourage more “day one” sales at full retail price, rather than waiting for a discount in 6 months or “goty” in 12 months.

   Would also encourage people to keep hold of their game after they finish it, rather than trading it in on the next game, causing preowned sales and a loss for the developer/publisher. Sure, you could slap an “online pass” to gain revenue off preowned sales, which seems to be the popular thing to do… which is why I’d rather buy new – but will often wait for a 50% or better sale instead.

   An extra character, skin or theme isn’t much of an incentive to buy day one. If all DLC was included, I’d be a lot happier to pay $99 for a game, rather than waiting until its $20 and pick up the DLC at a half price deal of the week.

            An extra character is heaps of an incentive for this type of game…… It will add like 4-80 hours more game play well for me it will..

      I got the game + the season pass for less than $99 bucks….
      Go ahead and wait till it’s $20, i am going to go out on a limb and say you will be waiting more than a year.

      It’s also a steamworks game, good luck trading it in….

   I picked up the Season Pass on Steam during the pricing glitch… Paid $4 per content 🙂

   I sincerely hope these 4 DLC’s don’t include the free Mechromancer DLC that’s included if you pre-order.

   If the DLC is anything like Borderlands 1’s, it was high quality, lengthy and lots of fun. Exactly what DLC should be. Borderlands does DLC right.

      You must be getting confused.

      Zombie Island was high quality, lots of fun but not very lengthy.
      Moxxi’s Underdome was not high quality, not so much fun, and very lengthy if you wanted to beat the big tournaments.
      Secret Armory was high quality lots of fun and very lengthy. Want more of this.
      Robot Revolution was not high quality, not so much fun and only lengthy if you grind out the random drops.
