Do people still actively care about achievements nowadays? Its seems as though, in general, people care that little bit less about them. I guess I still get a little excited if I do something cool and get rewarded for it, particularly in sports games, but I don’t seek them out in the way I used to. Still — this is the achievement list for Assassin’s Creed 3, which is a super big important AAA mega game, so maybe it is worth taking a gander?

Circus Act 10G
Kill 15 guards with a single cannon shot.
Eye Witness 10G
Witness a predator killing an enemy.
Jager Bomb 20G
After becoming fully Notorious, kill 10 Jagers before losing your notoriety.
And this is my favourite one ever, because it actually uses one of my favourite Scottish phrases…
Whit’s fur ye’ll no go by ye! 10G
Block a firing line 5 times by using a human shield.
