      Cheers, man. :)

I don't understand why I would buy something new when the vast majority of games that I would want to play on that list I can ... on my Xbox that I have had since the dawn of time... and am very comfortable with.

Thanks dude. Line up is looking good. Now just need to pre order. Any special packages out there

Not YET. Haven't seen anything other than the two vanilla packs. UK has a zombiu pack. Harvey Norman have a no deposit pre-order option online.

      My eyes thank you, sir.

I'm calling shenanigans on Nintendo, no way all those games will be there 18 November. Maximum 8.

I tend to agree, that many games with the user base just starting up means less people that can buy games. No point in swamping a small install base with too many games.

Now people are complaining there are TOO MANY games at launch? There's just no satisfying you people.

LOL i would be happy with alot of choice, when i went to preorder the Wii U i had only 4 games to choose from so when i heard 18 i said whooah really? Main problem is that means there are 18 games to compete with such a small userbase - which will mean some of them wont sell well. Not a good start considering Nintendo want to bring third parties back to them. I expect a staggered launch for the games so that there will be plenty of content up till Christmas. That way there will always be something available.

Is there any significant differences between this US list and what we can expect? :-)

Not a single system seller on launch... Yeah, fool me once Nintendo. I think I'll sit this one out until the new Zelda comes out.

Not that great, but better than I expected.

To be honest. If they could make a brand new Zelda in HD and bundle with the wii. They will be the first console in the gaming history to sell out quickest. But too bad they like to take it slow. Expect a Zelda for wii u when it is almost end of the life cycle

might hold off on this one until theres more to the library then just pikmin 3

Large lack of RPGs has me waiting.

IF the above games are available at launch - regardless of your interests - it will be the greatest console launch lineup EVER.

But most are third party games. Why buy a new console when I can play these games two or three weeks earlier? ZombiU is like the only good game out of the list. Original takes advantage of the controller and ZOMBIES.

        Name a better launch lineup.

SNES. the wii u launch is good but the problem is they are third party games that will or are old. There doesn't seem to be a real incentive for PS3ers Xboxers to get these games on wii u.

Awesome launch line-up, got mine pre-ordered with Mario and ZombiU, might have to add Fifa, Darksiders II and COD to the list too!

Out of that list, here are the games I think are WORTH buying:
Assassin’s Creed III (Isn't my personal favourite but it's popular, so I'll add this one)
Batman: Arkham City Armoured Edition (If you're a first time player)
Call of Duty: Black Ops II
Darksiders II (If you're a first time player)
EA SPORTS FIFA Soccer 13 (Isn't my personal favourite but it's popular, so I'll add this one)
    New Super Mario Bros. U
NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor’s Edge (People might disagree with this one but I liked it so I'll add it)
    Nintendo Land

Out of the entire list the ones I'm interested in:

    Black Ops II
    Epic Mickey 2
    New Super Mario Bros U
    Nintendo Land

    007 Legends
    LEGO City Undercover
    Rayman Legends

Although I'll just be getting Nintendo Land and NSMBU at launch, but still that's not too shabby for a launch lineup. Way better than the 3DS where I think the '3' signified how many months you'd have to wait for a decent game.

I am renaming this list "why I won't be buying a Super Wii (I refuse to call it a WiiU) at launch". Nothing of any interest here which is a shame since even the Wii had a zelda game at launch.

I bought a Wii cause it was on sale (something like $150) then got 3 games and played it for 2 weeks, now its gathering dust. As much as SOME of those games interest me, i highly doubt will be touching a Wii U till a good price drop.

Compared to past lineups, It's better. Then again, I don't really remember any launch lineups. So unless somebody proves otherwise..

That being said, there is no "killer app" that would make people flock to it day one, so it evens out in the end.

    Final verdict? Could be worse.

Inarguably the single worst launch lineup I have ever seen.

Yes, because the 360 and PS3 were just sooooooo awesome.

"Inarguably the single worst launch lineup I have ever seen."

Inarguably the dumbest comment I have ever seen.
