Let's See All The Cool New Stuff In The StarCraft II: Heart Of The Swarm Beta

This is what I'm doing today while I wait for Blizzard to extend me an invitation to the beta for StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. Watching other people play StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.

Here's Husky, one of my favourite YouTubers and one of the best announcers in eSports, playing and talking over footage of the beta. Enjoy it!

I know this will seem blasphemous to most, but where's the news about the single-player content? I give no farks for MP Starcraft.

Single player campaign doesn't need beta testing. And I don't think they include single playing in the close beta

True, but I'm interested in hearing about it anyway - I guess I'll just have to wait a bit longer!

There's plenty of other info out there on the single player.

MP is where this game shines anyway.

The only info I've heard is they've shorted the campaign to 20 missions because they found that most people didn't complete the WoL campaign, they jumped straight into Mutliplayer... Which is bullshit, I want a longer campaign!

Yep - gimme tons of lore and story!

Uggh, why did it have to be Husky? He's got a really annoying voice and he's not the most knowledgeable caster either. Oh well.

Day9 did a special daily with Sheth yesterday, VOD is up on http://freezone.iinet.net.au/channels/freezone/gaming/day9-webcasts?player=video/14344 (amongst other places)

Day9 also did some Heart of the Swarm Battle Reports for Blizzard where there was commentary on several matches showing off the new units during early, mid and late game.

Should be up on his Youtube channel.

Although that particular content might not be current any more, as it was from Blizzard's internal beta.

Yeah I think those are out-dated by now, there's been quite a lot of changes to the new units coming out, like the Widow Mine charge-up time is gone and the Mothership Core can move now?
