Raw DLC Plans A Borderlands 2 Marathon For Child's Play, And I'll Be There Too!

From Friday 6pm on September 21, the team from rawDLC intends to play for Borderlands 2 for 48 hours straight, in an attempt to raise funds for the Child's Pay charity. A host of folks are involved including myself!

Hosts of rawDLC Dave Kozicki and Joshua Philpott will be involved, of course, alongside Joab Gilroy from GameArena, Mana Bar creator Guy Blomberg, Stephen Farrelly from Ausgamers and both Maude Garrett and Rae Johnston from Geek Bomb among others.

Throughout the entire 48 hours the team is planning competitions, prizes and giveaways, but the focus, of course, is on the charity aspect, and raising a heap of money for a worthy cause.

It's also about playing Borderlands 2!

I'm super proud to be part of the event. Major props to Dave and Josh for putting the whole thing together -- I can't wait. I'll give you guys and girls more details closer to the time. But you'll be able to watch the stream live here!

Check your link for rawdlc.com, its having some issues ;)

Sorry Mark, I had meant the link to the live steam.

I'll be checking this out though, maybe I'll watch it while playing Borderlands 2! Bord-ception!?

Not exactly the best way for charity IMO. There are just too many cases of death over 48hours-72hours game marathon. Unless they include some sleep time or swapping players then it would be great lol

Given the number of people they mention who will be attending and all that jazz, I would imagine they will be taking shifts when playing the game.

We're extremely excited to have Mark 'old bean' Serrels as part of our charity marathon. oggob is correct, we'll be hitting it up over shifts to maximise the awesome and keep everyone fresh.
