Season Or No Season, NHL 13’s ‘Hercules Check’ Is Hockey’s Greatest Hit Ever

This is a glitch video to end all glitch videos, and not just because that’s a player getting checked over the glass and into the fourth row of a hockey arena. It’s also Sidney Freaking Crosby, the Pittsburgh Penguin’s superstar who has lost, like, an entire season’s worth of games due to concussions, going back to early 2011.

Know what else? This is an eminently repeatable glitch. You can do this in the comfort of your own home. It seems that a hip check executed during a line change, at the bench near where the door is opening, creates some kind of phantom zone through which you can send anyone spinning like a killer asteroid in near-earth orbit. The Crosby hit is the most prolific, but check out the one Shea Weber puts on Edmonton’s Ryan Nugent-Hopkins! And Preds head coach Barry Trotz recoiling in horror!

The gentleman who discovered this glitch is EA Sports user robertofool. The guys who figured out how it was triggered, and filmed the above video, are 2BCProductions.
