The Console War Is Not Over. It Lives On In This Anime.

Remember when Nintendo and Sega duked it out to the death in the console wars? Japanese manga Aoi Sekai no Chuushin de is a fantasy take on that gaming fight, with the Segua Kingdom waging war against the Ninterudo Empire for control of the territory known as Consume.

Segua is knocked back on its heels, trying to defend itself from Ninterudo's onslaught. A new hero, named "Gear", emerges for Segua and might turn the tide of the war.

Announced earlier this year, the manga is getting an anime adaption, which debuts on October 20 on Tokyo MX. It might be checking out, especially if you are unaware how this all panned out for Sega — I mean, Segua.

    Shameless pandering to nerds, this.

    No surprise it's Bashcraft's byline.

Yeah don't give half the readership (nerds) what they 'want'.

      I'm here for you Merus.

Please everyone show your support and leave a kind message for Merus!

    Heh, sounds pretty funny really.

Only person I avoid like the plague on this site is Luke Plunkett. If I see that name I just pass over the article. I refuse to give that man any support for 2 sentence articles.

Luke can actually write quite well, just gets bogged down by the amount of crap he has to cover. Ashcraft and Tini Amini are the worst people on this site.

Actually, I've noticed that Bashcraft hasn't posted nearly as many panty shot, porn game/porn game movie, or other "questionable material" articles lately. Maybe he was asked to tone it down a little?

Pfft i'll just stick to Neptunia... moar fanservice!
