The Ultimate Mobile Drift Racing Experience Skids Into The Sequel Lane

Drifting is the art of making cars do things cars should not do and spending a lot of money on tires. Ratrod Studios’ Drift Mania Championship 2 for iOS, Android and soon Windows 8 devices is a much cheaper alternative.

The sequel to the wildly popular Drift Mania Championship is now available for play on iOS devices and Android things, and the developer is convinced this is the ultimate drift racing experience on any platform. While I lack the knowledge to shoot down or stand behind such a claim, I can say that the original game was a surprisingly technical piece of racing goodness, aimed at the sort of folks that enjoy large dangerous things sliding across the ground like they slipped on a nanner.

The latest instalment comes packed with 13 different fully customisable vehicles, 13 drift circuits and tons of parts to put inside your car to make it swoosh better. The swooshing is important.

Drift Mania Championship 2 was developed in collaboration with DMCC, the only professional drifting series in Canada, which I did not know was a thing. It is officially sponsored by NOS Energy Drink. I knew that was a thing. Mmmm.
