This NES Zapper Is Now A Real, Dangerous Laser Gun


It may have looked like something out of a more safety-conscious Star Trek episode, but Nintendo’s Zapper was about as harmless as fake plastic guns can get.

Oh, except for this one. Which North Street Labs has turned into an actual laser gun that can set things on fire.

It’s not an easy process – as you’ll see below, all that remains unchanged is the casing – but one that seems to have been totally worth it, because it now shoots a super powerful blue laser that can burn wood and metal.

Uunless you’re qualified to handle this kind of stuff, don’t try this at home. Just…don’t.
