Time Travel, Lasers And Dinosaurs: The Video Game Of One Man’s Dreams

Evan’s Note: It’s hard not to want to love Super Time Force. The next release from Capybara Games features a ridiculous sci-fi premise, one that has players spawning hundreds of versions of themselves on-screen in side-scrolling shoot-em-up action.

Then the game got a hilarious animated trailer that took the piss out of old cartoons like G.I Joe.

In short, Super Time Force is everything that cartoonist Zac Gorman secretly hoped would show up in one video game. And when he finally got to see it in action at this year’s Penny Arcade Expo, he had one very important question to ask of Capybara. Oh, Zac. We should all be so lucky as to have our secret diary game designs wind up in other people’s heads.

Want to see more of Zac’s work? Head over to his personal blog and game-themed site Magical Game Time. If you’re feeling commercial, you can buy prints and shirts here. He’ll be back on Kotaku with a new comic next month!
