Man Tries To Livestream Resident Evil, Ends Up Livestreaming His Nap user Oddler set out to marathon a chunk of the Resident Evil franchise for 72 hours, boasting no sleep in the title of his stream.

But after 65 hours of playing, he just couldn't handle it anymore. So he slips off into what looks like a pleasant snooze seated at his chair while the chatroom bursts and roars with laughter. Roughly an hour later Oddler walks up and heads into his bedroom for sleepytimes, inciting more laughter from onlookers.

Oddler, that champ, is still at his livestream right now, which you can head over and watch. It's in overtime, probably to make up for that nap.

Update: Oddler chimed in to say that he not only got up and wandered off to his bedroom, but he actually sleepwalked there. Poor guy. Give him a hand. And a pillow.

65 hours is a bloody champion effort... well done dude.

Sorry to be 'that guy', but isn't there a serious health risk to staying awake for such a ridiculously long perioud of time? It's not that rare that you hear reports of gamers dying after crazy marathon sessions....

(btw, I am aware of the irony of me saying that when I did a 24 hour gaming marathon, but 72 hours seems a bit silly)

Not to belittle his effort though, the guy's a machine, but still, it seems like a bad idea to promote risky behaviour...

Yeah I can't really say I'm a fan of this marathon live-streaming trend.

As far as I know, most of those deaths revolved around the fact they did not eat, drink or use the dunny the entire time.

He was only 7 hours off, that's got to suck. Still, a hell of lot better than I could ever do.

Must have been right about the point he got to Resident Evil 5. Coincidence? I think not :P

Ha ha, nice try, but probably the game least likely to induce sleep as it is the most action packed.

Exactly my point - it's also the least scary. Generic 3rd person action adventure competing in a genre full of much better games. Certainly put me to sleep.

Youtube removed the video due to " harass, bully or threaten."
