Yesterday's ScribbleTaku was a good one. I stumped some people, there were some good guesses, but then someone finally got it. Good times.

Congrats to bookiegnu — amazing spot. Well done to Sleeping Wolf, who was a couple of minutes behind.

ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game on a sticky note, and it’s your job to guess what it is! Come back every day at noon for a new ScribbleTaku! Feel like sending one in? Shoot us an email here.

Is that Braid? Are they jigsaw pieces at the bottom?

    Streets of rage?

Ack, I used to play that. What the hell was it called?

Nope maybe not. I was thinking of Kung Fu, but the UI for that was on the top of the screen.

I think this might be Double Dragon... 2 or 3? Where there's a conveyor belt.... some deja vu twinging there. Yeah, I remember this game well. :P

But really, I think it's The Dig.

    You fools, it's obviously Renegade.

Fumes you fool, it's obviously Target Renegade.

      Facepalm. I knew that one.

Google didn't have useful hits for "that fighting game where you start near a train".

Or for 'that fighting game where you do alright until the pricks on motorbikes show up'.

    River City Ransom?

Honestly, the interface scribbles are nibbling at my memory... I'm pretty sure they don't actually fit River City Ransom or any other game I've played which was mentioned so far.... it'll come to me.

    Urban Champion from the NES

RCR was also called Street Gangs

For some reason it reminds me of Wario Land (didnt he used to jump like that or dance like that?) but in this pic he isnt fat or wearing a hat?

    So it was..........

My Hero... I know I'm Super late for this one! what was the answer???
