Hatsune Miku On PS3 Lets Players Pick Up Where They Left Off

Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- f has been one the biggest PS Vita titles as of yet. Selling over 159,000 copies in its first week, the PS Vita rhythm game featuring the famous virtual idol will be getting a PS3 version, Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- F. Notice the big F!

According to the developers, in an interview with Weekly Famitsu, Project Diva- F will allow for system data and edit data transfer from Project Diva- f so that players can continue their experience on the PS3 without having to start a new game. Sadly the game will not be utilising a cross controller feature where players can use their Vitas as a controller.

Among new upgrades to the game, will be six new songs, new modules and customise items, and a new play mode. Vita specific features like the AR feature or the scratch feature will not be included or changed to fit a PS3 interface.

As to a release date, the developers would only state that they were hoping to release the game “around the time when people would be celebrating entering new schools and jobs”. That basically means around (northern) spring next year.
