Watch Halo 4's Promethean Weapons Assemble In Mesmerising Slow Motion

One of the coolest features of 343's first Halo title that released today is the disassembling and reassembling Promethean weapons.

Not only are these weapons incredibly satisfying to shoot and kill with, but they're also pretty to look at. Reloading will take the weapon apart momentarily, but the best disassembling/reassembling animations occur when you pick up one of these weapons for the very first time.

Oh, and for fun we included a Promethean itself, in that memorable moment where it exposes its skeletal shield to reveal its ghostly face before you give it a good punch in the nose.

The Suppressor.

The Boltshot.

The Lightrifle.

I'm not a big fan of halo..but this is actually pretty bloody awesome looking, considering getting it now :D

I can not recommend Halo 4 enough. Even if you're not a fan of the multiplayer or multiplayer in general. The campaign alone makes it a great game. This is coming from a fan that disliked Reach as well. If you are concerned about the story don't be it's amazing.

The campaign, while great looking, is over way too quickly. I completed it on my first sitting in about 6 hours (with quite a few breaks in between). I loved the cinematography in the game, but the over all experience was over way too quickly which left me with mixed feelings and little desire to replay the campaign. I got same feelings as I did when I played Diablo 3.. I guess you could call it disappointment. There are better multiplayer fps games out on the market as well. My 2c but each to their own.

If you guys recommend it, than I shall get it (: play it with my boyfriend this weekend haha!

A lot of money to spend on a game simply because you like the weapon animations. Just saying. Horses for courses I guess.

Animation tools really have come a long way this gen.
Hard to believe this is on the same console as Halo 3

The scattershot is relatively tame then.
I've only played multiplayer for 30 mins, so I'm yet to get truly into it.
