It’s sad to say, but the ‘mixed’ reviews of Assassin’s Creed 3 have partly soured my motivation to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed 3 this weekend. That’s a terrible thing to say, because I really should hold off judging until I’ve actually played a significant amount of the game itself, but yeah. Seems like it may not be the game I was hoping it would be. That being said, I still fully intend to dedicate a massive amount of my weekend to this game! What are you all planning to play this weekend?
I also still have Dishonored to finish, and I’m very, very close. This game has been a real sleeper for me. The more I play and the more I master the mechanics, the more I enjoy it. Which is how all games should be, I suppose.
It reminds me a little of Metal Gear Solid 3, in that your first playthough is almost like preparation for the real fun you’re going to have on subsequent playthroughs. I don’t know if I’ll have time for all that though!
