Some really good guesses in yesterday's ScribbleTaku. It was almost a little unfair, because the drawing really could have been from a million different games. That said -- congrats to GerminalConsequence who was the first to correctly guess Yoshi's Island!

Anyways -- good luck with today's effort!

ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game on a sticky note, and it’s your job to guess what it is! Come back every day at noon for a new ScribbleTaku! Feel like sending one in? Shoot us an email here.

    The Dig.

But the flowers in Yoshi's Island never have stems, do they?

In which case, I'm going to assume that this is another badly drawn reference to Yoshi's Island, this time of a piranha plant. They have arms, right?

I don't think it was one of the ones you collect, but these ones:

Hmmm, alright, he's off the hook this time. But I've got my eye on you Serrels...

Half Life? That could be a really dodgy-looking headcrab...

    Plok I reckon.

That was my first thought too. One more vote for Plok.

Looks like you might have it

Definitely, It's one of the bosses: The Bobbins Brothers.

It's the bobbins bros from plok. The very first boss of the game

And you fight them again later in the game (during Grandpa Plok's flashback), except you fight three of them instead of two.

    Superman 64 for sure

This is the part where the game cartridge literally tries to eat your soul

I'm going to guess that big black monster thing from Skyward Sword.

Yup I think you got it, "the imprisoned"

Definitely Plok on SNES. Its one of the first bosses called the Bobbin brothers. Awesome game made by the Pickford brothers, my mate and I spent years trying to beat it and just did it not that long ago!!!!

Also the soundtrack deserveds a mention. Composed by Tim Folllin it has to be one of the greatest soundtracks of all time. It has a sort of prog rock feel to it and the harmonica in the opening will have you in disbelief that the SNES could sound so realistic!!
