COD BLOPS 2 Tops The Aussie Trailer Charts

Google’s released its list of the most popular YouTube trailers in Australia for 2012. You might expect a big film, such as The Avengers or Iron Man 3 to have been top dog. Instead, it’s Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The reveal trailer for Black Ops 2 nudged out the big superhero flicks, with the only other game entrant being Halo 4’s “Forward Unto Dawn” trailer. Although an awful lot of the other films in the list had some form of game tie-in or another, excluding those that wouldn’t really work as video games, such as The Dictator or Les Misérables — although I suppose it could make a good Singstar game, if you really wanted to hear the people sing.
