Many were close, but nobody got yesterday's Scribble, so I've decided to put you out of your misery... and straight into some fresh misery.

Yesterday's game was King's Bounty: The Legend; there were a lot of guesses around the concept, but nobody actually managed it.

Today, I've once again outsourced to family, this time getting my six year old son to draw his favourite game. For what it's worth, I had to ask him to explain it, but once he did, it quickly made sense. That's all the clues you get (for now), mind you.

ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game on a sticky note, and it’s your job to guess what it is! Come back every day at noon for a new ScribbleTaku! Feel like sending one in? Shoot us an email here.

I haven't quite gone that meta... yet.

Although now that you mention it... (insert evil laugh here)

King's Bounty: The Legend is retro? o_0

Minecraft, thats all that kids play these days right?

It came out in 2008. That's not exactly "new".

I've got games in my pile of shame older than that, I guess I should play more games (yeah right)

The original King's Bounty came out in 1990! It was the predecessor of Heroes of Might and Magic. Awesome game too!

I know there was an older one, but it didnt use a grid or an orthogonal view

    Prince of Persia

Skylanders. That's a guy sitting on the platform.

It's also what the kids are playing nowadays.

If a kid is playing it, I'll go with Ninjago.

I like that Alex is managing to thwart us on a regular basis by outsourcing to family. I predict a slew of Scribbletakus by Heizy and Quinn on Mark's return!

Tip Time: It's not a game that came out in 2012.

Looks like some sort of Golf game possibly, I would bet it's something for an android/iPhone?

Flying Spaghetti Monster - The Game?
Ummm... Oblivion, specifically a partial of the Map around focusing around the capital city?
(though i doubt it, since its a 6 year old drawing it)

Hint #2: It's a sports game. Sort of.

Mario Cart? Kinda looks like a guy riding on top of something.
