Once again, nobody got yesterday's ScribbleTaku, which means that the prize money (of which there is none) rolls over. It also leaves me with a quandary. Do I make things easier... or harder?

Yesterday's effort was, for the record Mario & Sonic At The Winter Olympic Games. He's on skis, you see.

I did briefly consider further outsourcing Scribbling duties to my cats, but as nobody's yet produced Chasing A Laser Pointer Halfway Up The Wall: The Game, that might be a little unfair. Although it's a great idea for a game, so I'm claiming 50 per cent of the royalties right now. Rich! I'll be rich!

Still, cats were cast aside, and I've instead turned to my slightly older eight year old son for inspiration.

Can you guess today's game?

ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game on a sticky note, and it’s your job to guess what it is! Come back every day at noon for a new ScribbleTaku! Feel like sending one in? Shoot us an email here.

    It's a-me, Mario!

    So New Super Mario Bros?

    Metal gear?

Skylanders Giants in particular thats tree rex. or have i been playing this with my son so much now that everything looks like a skylander?
You might be right about it being related to Skylanders - I've never even seen it played, but I'm not really seeing much resemblance to Tree Rex there.

    New Super Mario Bros 2?

Zombie alien nazi zombie shooter? Yes?

time to stop outsourcing: the game.

No, time to start outsourcing MORE. Ask elderly parents or grandparents who have never played games. Neighbours. The guy sitting on the train next to you on the way to work. Guys delivering packages. The PopSugar girls. The choices are endless!

It'd be a Mario game, lets just assume I bombarded you with all the Mario titles in recent memory.

I guess the game is ScribbleTaku!

It could conceivably be a cop - pick a GTA game, and I reckon it's that one

    Ski Free?

That was my first thought too, but do 8 year olds play ski free?

He's wearing a hat, so it's obviously TF2. Either that or a slender man game produced by Valve.

Looks like the alcoholic boat captain from Adventures of Tin Tin
