FarmVille 2 Celtic Kitchen Recipes: Everything You Need To Know

As we continue our look at the Celtic item theme in FarmVille 2, we now head into the game’s Crafting Kitchen with the theme’s three new recipes. These recipes will only be available for the next 27 days, while the themed ingredients themselves are available in the store for the next 20 days. Without further ado, let’s get to cooking.

The first is the Pickled Savoy Cabbage, which is made using five Pickling Spice and 12 Savoy Cabbage. The Pickling Spice is earned by sending out individual requests to your friends for help, while the Savoy Cabbage are planted for 50 coins per square and harvested after four hours. You’ll earn 12 XP for each batch of Pickled Savoy Cabbage that you create, and you’ll be able to sell each one for 2160 coins.

The second recipe is the Hawthorn Jam, which is created using five Sugar and 14 Hawthorn Berries. Like the Pickling Spice, the Sugar is earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbours, while the Hawthorn Berries are earned by harvesting the Hawthorn Tree. This tree is technically premium, as it costs 12 Farm Bucks to purchase. If you don’t want to purchase the tree yourself, but you’d like to create some of this Jam, you can try to harvest your friends’ Hawthorn Trees for berries, but there’s no guarantee that you’ll actually receive them. If you do end up crafting some Hawthorn Jam, you’ll receive 17 XP for each batch created. Each batch is sold for 3010 coins.

The final recipe in this trio is the Hawthorn Candy, which also makes use of the Hawthorn Tree. Each batch of Hawthorn Candy requires two Lemonade and eight Hawthorn Berries to create. Lemonade itself is created using a combination of Lemons and Water, making it a valuable ingredient in and of itself. The Candy goes for 3690 coins each, and you’ll earn 24 XP for each one you create.

Again, these recipes will only be available for around a month, so make sure to stock up on these ingredients and create as many items as you can before these recipes expire.
