Off Topic: Favourite Cartoons

Chalk this up as another sign of aging, but I was watching some cartoons with my nephew the other day, and it occurred to me that cartoons nowadays are a little bit ‘meh’. The feature cheap CG, don’t really make any sense, and it got me remembering some of the classics from my youth. So I thought I’d extend the question to you guys and girls: what cartoons did you guys watch as kids?

I watched the usual staple of cartoons that most kids of the 80s watched: He-Man, Thundercats. But growing up in the UK allowed me the pleasure of watching classics like Dangermouse and Count Duckula.

I wonder just how well or terribly some of these cartoons have aged. That must be part of the reason why every generation seems to think the cartoons they watched as kids were the best.

What did you folks watch as kids growing up?
