Sceptical Reaction To PS4 Reveals Questions Sony Still Has To Answer

The cat is out of the bag! Between the Wii U launch and the PlayStation 4 reveal last night, it's safe to say that next gen is here, people. But what are people thinking about that reveal yesterday?

Some of these reactions are funny and witty. Some are thought-provoking. Some are excited. Most, to me, seem to come out of a place of scepticism — mostly to do with how the PS4 was never actually unveiled at the event (which is to say, people were left with more questions than answers).

Check it out:

I think it's likely that people were still super into the event. Despite the scepticism that I saw today, my Twitter feed was still mostly fixated on the PlayStation 4. Obviously people care, right? That's probably why the eyebrow-raising is happening in the first place, nevermind the fact that there really are some iffy things going on with the PS4.

What does it look like? How much will it cost? What do you mean it's not backwards compatible? All valid questions that are worth asking, so none of this seems unwarranted.

What about you, how are you feeling about the PlayStation 4? Sound off in the comments.

Why didn't the eagles just fly some women on stage to present the ps4?

Shuhei Yoshida is going to get a sex change. Everybody loves Shuhei Yoshida but after surgery, everyone's going to love Shenay Yoshida, President of Worldwide Studios.

.... another 'article' with pretty much just twitter quotes. What journalism and in depth reporting...

patricia you are the worst writer on this site

Who are these Twits (Twats?) and why should we care?

...I mean, if I wanted to expose myself to random bitching and bad grammar, I could just go to the office next door, go out to the mall or open a link to any forum ever!

Everyone on here are those people in the street I avoid walking to close to in case I catch ignorance.

well the last one was the CEO of sony....

I'm not sure how I feel about the Wii U being classed as "next gen". I feel as though it was more Nintendo playing catch-up with current gen, just with a little extra power; not quit enough to warrant next gen status.

Why? Because the graphics aren't mindblowing? There's more inovation in the Wii U then what Sony has offered us so far. I'm not a Nintendo fan boy but just stating my thoughts.

I don't think putting a touch screen in a controller and giving it aspects of remote play is all that innovative.
I don't think Sony are synonymous with innovation either, they tend to take good ideas and build on them to make them better.
So while Nintendo might be doing something a little different, I don't think it's quite next gen, more like this gen 1/2.

Long as it has a Biscuit drive, I'll be happy.

"I am a consumer, therefore I must know everything!!" Some people need to chill... there's going to be at least 6 months before we can start thinking about (realistic) pre-order, not to mention E3 - plenty of time to reveal more information and new games.

Twitter pieces are the laziest for of writing. You are a clown PH.
