The Legend Of Zelda Is A New York Times Bestseller. No, Really.

Barely a week into its western release, The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia is a New York Times No. 1 bestseller. Shouldn't that designation come with an exclamation point or two? Fine! Here!!

See for yourself here, it's topping the "Hardcover Advice & Misc." category, though that doesn't mean it's a strategy guide or a D&D Monster Manual.

Hyrule Historia offers concept art, the official chronology of the Zelda series, and the full history of Hyrule, per its title. If you're looking to learn more about its contents, here's our preview (with a couple of page scans.)

It's been number 1 on Amazon for the past week or so as well. I didn't think it would be as popular as it has been, so it's nice to see this!

if I remember correctly, Hyrule Historia at one point beat out 50 Shades of Grey on Amazon in terms of orders/bestsellers so it's nice that videogame material is getting some exciting publicity :)

How can I get this in Australia?

got mine from ozgamehop, although they were taking orders at EB

Got it from ozgameshop too. Very impressed with it, its well made and looks and feels like a premium product, a product worthy of celebrating the 25 years of the Legend of Zelda. Cant wait to see what they do for the 50th anniversary of Zelda!

Best price is probably book depository(anyone feel free to correct me on this), as it's about $29 from the US site, or $34 from the UK. Downside is that they ran out of stock, and then decided that that meant that they were waiting for the 11th of March for release. So, if you can wait, they're the cheapest that I know of, but the stock problems are, well, problematic.

Otherwise, yeah, a fair few places should be selling it(for anywhere between about $35 and $90).

I pre-ordered from Amazon in August last year... $45 delivered to Aus, arrived 1st of Feb... Quicker than it takes some stuff to come from within Australia!!!

You forgot to mention that's with express shipping. Book is $20 on Amazon (cheapest I've seen) but shipping is $10, $15 or $25.

Hope it doesn't sell out before I order mine! I'm trying to wait until next Monday b/c it would suit my fiscal (mis)management better.

You can order on MightyApe for AU$34.99, although it's back ordered till march 14th in both Aus and NZ.
